Welcome to Swanton Local Schools Transportation Department:

Our goal is to provide the safest and most efficient transportation for your students. Swanton Schools transports approximately 750 students and travels over a 1000 miles daily. We currently have 19 buses in our fleet. Each year the State Highway Patrol performs annual inspections and one spot inspections on all the buses.  All of our drivers are very well trained and cautious, but we also need the help from all community members to always be looking for the school bus especially when the lights are flashing. The safety record for school bus transportation far exceeds that of all other modes of travel. Let’s all do our part to keep it that way.
