Mondays: Woodwind Sectionals 2:45-4:00 PM, Guard Sectionals 5:00-7:30 PM

Tuesdays: Percussion sectionals 4:00-6:00 PM

Wednesdays: Brass Sectionals 2:45-4:00 PM 

Thursdays: Full Band 6:00-9:00 PM 

*Instead of practicing on Thursday 10/31, we will practice 4-6 PM on Tuesday, 10/29.

Football @ Bryan: 11/1

Report time: 4:15 PM

Bus Leaves: 4:45 PM

Return: 11:15 PM

We will wear full uniform. Bring money for concessions.

Marching Band Concert: Tuesday, 11/5

Report time: 6:15 PM

Concert starts: 7:00 PM

We will wear full uniforms. The performance will be in the gym.

Florida Trip Meeting: Wednesday 11/6 

There will be an informational meeting regarding the Florida trip on Wednesday, November 6 at 7:00 PM in the band room. If you cannot make it, please make sure your student picks up the info at school and send me an email with questions.

State Contest: Saturday, 11/9 @ Brunswick HS

We will be performing at Brunswick HS at 12:45 PM on Saturday, 11/9. I am still waiting on exact warm up times, but we will probably need to leave the school around 8:00 AM which will put report time at 7:30 AM. 

Band Crop Scrapbooking Fundraiser: Saturday, 11/16

We are looking for raffle prize donations and students and parents to help set up on Friday and help carry scrapbooking items on Saturday. Please email samantha.preisner@swantonschools.org with questions.

Century Resources Fundraiser

Order forms and money are due Monday 11/4. Delivery will be the week of 12/2.

Band Fees

This is a reminder that your band fees are due by the end of band camp.  New member fee is $55.00 and covers the cost of shoes, shorts and t-shirt.  All upper-classmen owe a $30.00 maintenance fee to cover the cost of cleaning your uniform. Extra shirts and shorts are $12 each. We can also arrange an installment payment plan, but you need to contact Mrs. Preisner.
