The Swanton Board of Education will be receiving sealed bids at the office of the Treasurer of the
Swanton Board of Education of Fulton County, Ohio, 108 N. Main Street, Swanton, OH 43558, for
the purchase of one 78 passenger propane powered or gasoline powered school bus (model year
2019 or newer) and one 71 passenger diesel powered school bus with handicapped lift installed
(model year 2019 or newer) to be used for transportation of students. Bids will be received until
11:00 A.M. on April 29, 2019.
Proposals and Specifications are available at the Board of Education Office of Swanton Local
School District at 108 N Main Street, Swanton, Ohio 43558, by contacting Jeff Bella,
Transportation Supervisor at (419) 826-8891 and by visiting our website
www.swantonschools.org. Said school buses must meet on delivery all requirements of the
State Department of Education, State of Ohio, and specifications of the local Board of
Education, as well as be able to pass the Ohio State Patrol Safety inspection. Any questions
regarding the proposal or specifications can be directed to Jeff Bella, Transportation Supervisor.
Bids submitted shall impose no liability or obligation on the Swanton Schools Board of
Education.
The Swanton Local School Board of Education of Fulton County reserves the right to reject any
and all bids. In awarding the contract, the Board of Education reserves to be the sole judge of
the quality of any item which is bid and the Board of Education also reserves the right to
consider all elements germane in determining the qualifications of the bidders and his agents or
representatives. Any bid which is incomplete, conditional, obscure, or which contains
irregularities of any kind may be rejected at the discretion of the Board of Education.

Street, Swanton OH 43558, at 11:00 A.M.
