A Message from the Superintendent:

The Swanton Local School District is pleased to announce that we have added the EntrySign Visitor Management System to all of our school buildings. Visitors who wish to enter into the academic areas of our school buildings will be asked to scan their driver’s license or state ID at the kiosk. The visitor management system will run their information through over 40 different databases. Once their information comes back clear an identification badge will be printed out for the visitors to wear into the building. This system does not replace the yearly Background checks that are done if you want to chaperone field trips, have lunch with your student, or be a classroom volunteer.
The addition of the visitor management system will provide our staff and students with an additional layer of security. We hope that this system will provide our parents with additional peace of mind knowing that all visitors to Swanton Local Schools Schools will be verified as having a clean background check. In this time of heightened awareness of school security, the Swanton Local School District continues to seek out opportunities to expand on safety measures and the addition of EntrySign is another step in that process.
If you plan on visiting any of our classrooms for any reason please be sure to bring a driver’s license or state id card so that you may be admitted into the building. Thank you. Go Bulldogs!
