Freshmen – There will be a Freshman Class Meeting on Monday, February 24th at 8:00am. There will be an announcement to release all Freshmen to the Auditorium. The meeting will last for approximately 30 minutes.
Seniors – Senior Group picture day will be February 28th. Pick up your order form in the main office.

Feb. 26th – Softball 3-5 Feb. 29th – Softball – 9-11:30
Baseball Tryouts are on Monday, February 24th. Tryout times for Monday are as follows:
Juniors/Seniors 4:30 – 7pm Meet at the high school weight room and ready to go at 4:30pm
Freshman/Sophomores 6:30 – 9pm Meet at Fisher Gym at 6:30pm
All winter athletes going out for baseball need to meet Coach Siewart Wednesday, February 19th immediately after school in the gym. It will only take 5 minutes.
The National Guard is sponsoring a College and Career Expo February 22 between 10am and 2pm. Anyone 16 to 35 interested in Career Direction, Military, or College come with your parents to 925 Research Drive, Toledo Ohio during a live drill. Email, text or call to claim a spot. Attention Seniors – The Fulton County Career Exploration Day event will be on Thursday, February 27 from 8:30 am-12:30 pm at Crossroads Church in Wauseon. This event will again include mock interview sessions for Senior level students and will again include several break-out sessions that will help students prepare for life upon graduation. All SHS seniors are invited to attend this event. Please see Mrs. Cargill or Mrs. Lopez to sign up by Feb. 21st.
Northwest State CC will host a CCP Informational meeting on Monday, Feb. 24th from 7-8pm. We have found that this meeting is beneficial to the students and parents that couldn’t make it to their High School CCP meetings. The event will include all of the state required CCP information with a Q & A section at the end.
NHS will be holding the Snowball Dance on “Leap Day”, Saturday, February 29th from 7pm – 10pm. Tickets are $15.00. The theme for the dance is “Time Warp – The Dance That Never Was.” The dress-up Days for the week of Feb 24 are:
Monday – Be Invisible (Wear camo)
Tuesday – Testing no Freshmen & seniors
Wednesday – A Trip to the year 3000 (Dress in futuristic – Robot, Cyborg, Alien)
Thursday – Throwback Thursday (Dress in a Past Decade)
Friday – Spirit Day (Dress in your class color to support your class volleyball team)
On Friday, Feb 28 we will have the class competition volleyball pep rally. Each class will need two teams of six male players and two female coaches. Team sign-up sheets will be at the Snowball ticket sales area during the lunches. The winning team will play against the faculty volleyball team.
